We work on the windows you already have. Each service below can stand alone or be combined into a full renovation of an existing Pella unit.
Repair damaged, soft, deteriorated, or rotting wood components while preserving the original window whenever practical. Decayed stock is cut back to clean fiber and new timber is milled to the original profile and scarfed in.
Replace failed, fogged, cracked, or outdated glass while maintaining the existing window when possible. We fabricate our own insulated units, so replacements match the sightline of the sash rather than a stock size.
Upgrade older glazing systems with modern insulated glass and Low-E technology when compatible with the existing window — better comfort and energy performance without removing the frame.
Restore existing wood sashes rather than automatically replacing the complete window assembly. Joints re-squared and re-glued, profiles rebuilt, finishes renewed.
Address damaged, worn, broken, or difficult-to-operate hardware — operators, hinges, locks, and balances — so the window closes on its full compression seal again.
Repair or replace deteriorated seals and weatherstripping that contribute to drafts, air leakage, and poor operation. Often the single largest comfort gain on an otherwise sound window.
