Educational material is not a diagnosis
The guides, failure-mode descriptions, and FAQ answers published here describe general conditions in wood window assemblies. They are not an inspection, an engineering opinion, or a warranty determination for any specific window. Only an on-site assessment can establish what a particular unit needs.
No contract from an inquiry
Submitting a form creates no obligation on either side. Work begins only under a written scope and price agreed in advance.
Estimates and scope
Figures discussed before a unit is opened are ranges. Concealed rot, prior repairs, and non-standard hardware can change scope; when they do, we document the finding and confirm the revised scope before continuing.

Text, photography, diagrams, and page design on this site are ours and may not be reproduced without written permission. Photographs depict our own work unless captioned otherwise.
